The first day of the Ukraine Hockey Camp is off to a successful start as young athletes from Ukraine begin their time in Erie.
The players arrived safely in the United States on Saturday night despite experiencing some travel delays along the way. All of the participants made it to Erie and have already begun settling in with their host, or billet, families.

The athletes are enjoying their first days in the community and taking part in camp activities as they prepare for a week of hockey development, cultural exchange, and new experiences.
The camp provides Ukrainian youth players with an opportunity to train on the ice while building friendships and experiencing life in the United States.
With the first day underway, camp leaders say the program is off to a positive start, and they look forward to the rest of the week’s activities both on and off the ice.
