MOBILE APP. LAST WEEK, WE BROUGHT YOU THE STORY OF A HURRICANES SUPERFAN HAS BEEN GETTING CANES TATTOOS ALL OVER HIS ARMS DURING THE TEAM’S HISTORIC PLAYOFF RUN. A LOT OF TIMES RESPONDING TO GAMES WHERE THEY WERE BEHIND, AND THEY SCORED TWO GOALS HERE IN THE FOURTH. AND THEN THEY DO IT AND THEY ASKED TO GET A TATTOO. THAT’S WHERE A LOT OF THIS REALLY STARTED. THAT’S A REAL SUPER DUPER FAN. SUPER FAN INDEED. YEAH. ALL RIGHT. WELL, NOW THAT THE HURRICANES BROUGHT HOME THE STANLEY CUP, HE’S COMPLETING HIS COLLECTION OF CANES. INK. DON’T GET ALL THE WAY TO THE FINISH LINE AND NOT SPRINT ACROSS IT. RIGHT. KELLY KENDALL MET UP WITH HIM AT A RALEIGH TATTOO PARLOR, WHERE HE ROLLED UP HIS SLEEVE FOR THE STANLEY CUP. IN A MANNER OF SPEAKING, STANLEY CUP HAS JUST ARRIVED IN RALEIGH WOOD, BUT IT WILL ONLY BE HERE FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, UNLESS YOU’RE BRACING FOR THE STANLEY CUP HE’S GETTING WILL BE WITH HIM FOREVER. SO NORTH CAROLINA NATIVE BRYSON CALMLY POSTED ON SOCIAL MEDIA THAT HE’D GET THE TATTOO IF THE CAROLINA HURRICANES SCORED TWO GOALS IN THE SECOND PERIOD DURING GAME TWO OF THE FINALS, AND THEY DID. THEN IN GAME THREE, I HAD TWEETED IF THEY SCORED FOUR TO TIE IT, I WOULD GET THE TATTOO. SO THAT’S WHEN I GOT STORMY. I HAD STATED, IF THEY WIN THE STANLEY CUP, THIS IS MY LAST ONE. IF THEY WIN THE STANLEY CUP, I’LL GET A TATTOO OF STANLEY CUP. BY GAME SIX, CARRBORO HAD GONE VIRAL ON SOCIAL MEDIA FOR THE TATTOOS, AND HE WAS PREPARED FOR MORE AS HE WATCHED THE CANES FROM OUTSIDE THE LENOVO CENTER ON JUNE 14TH.
