This just in, the San Jose Sharks have acquired forward Andre Gasseau and the 120th pick in next week’s NHL Draft in exchange for picks 104 and 157 in the same Draft.
The 22 year old Gasseau is slated to become an unrestricted free agent if he doesn’t sign a contract between now and July 1st and it’s believed that he was unwilling to sign a deal with the Bruins. Gasseau, a California native, now has a chance to start his NHL career with a fresh start in San Jose.
