PORTLAND (WGME) – The first annual Coach Norm Gagne Classic is just a few weeks away.
The legendary Maine high school hockey coach will be teeing it up on June 26 at Boothbay Country Club. It’s a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
Some of the celebrities include former Red Sox star Curt Schilling, longtime NHL defenseman and former NYA great Eric Weinrich plus former Boston Bruin Steve Leach.
There are still a few foursomes left, but it’s just about sold out, with proceeds benefiting amateur hockey in Maine.
