The Hockey Hall of Fame announced the 2026 induction class today. Brian Burke is the representative going in the builders category. Five players were named, with forwards Patrice Bergeron and Keith Tkachuk being named. Goalies Carey Price and Pekka Rinne. The final player is Cindy Curley.

Brian Burke
Burke is currently the Executive Director of the PWHLPA. He had previously worked in the league office. He was also the director of hockey operations and general manager of the Anaheim Ducks, Vancouver Canucks, and Toronto Maple Leafs. Burke was the president of hockey operations for Toronto, the Calgary Flames, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He won the Stanley Cup with the Ducks back in 2007, and he was also the general manager of the USA team that took home a silver medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Patrice Bergeron
Bergeron spent all 19 years of his playing career with the Boston Bruins. The Bruins drafted him 45th overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. In 1,294 career games, he had 1,040 points on 427 goals and 613 assists. He was a career +289 with 131 power-play goals, 22 shorthanded goals, and 81 game-winning goals. In 170 playoff games, he had 128 points on 50 goals and 78 assists. He was a +42 with 17 power-play goals, three shorthanded goals, and ten game-winning goals. He won the Stanley Cup with the Bruins in 2011 and won the Selke Trophy six times, the King Clancy in 2012-13, and the Mark Messier Award in 2020-21. The Bruins will be retiring his number 37 this season.
Keith Tkachuk
Tkachuk spent 18 seasons in the NHL. He played for the Winnipeg Jets, Arizona Coyotes, and St. Louis Blues. In 1,201 games, he had 1,065 points on 538 goals and 527 assists. He was a +33 with 212 power-play goals, 13 shorthanded goals, and 72 game-winning goals. In 89 playoff games, he had 56 points on 28 goals and 28 assists. He was a -15 with eight power-play goals and a game-winning goal. The Winnipeg Jets drafted him 19th overall in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft.
Carey Price
Price appeared in 712 games, going 361-261-79 with a .917 save percentage, a 2.51 goals-against average, and 49 shutouts. He won the 2014-15 Hart Trophy along with the Vezina. He also won the 2014-15 Pearson Award and in 2021-22 the Bill Masterson Trophy. He’s 43-45-0 in the playoffs with a 2.39 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage, and eight shutouts. The Canadiens drafted him fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
Pekka Rinne
The Nashville Predators drafted Rinne 258th overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He played in 683 games, all with Nashville, going 369-213-75 with a .917 save percentage, a 2.43 goals-against average, and 60 shutouts. In 89 career playoff games, he is 45-44-0 with a .914 save percentage, a 2.49 goals-against average, and five shutouts. He won the Vezina Trophy in 2017-18 and the King Clancy in 2020-21.
Cindy Curley
Curley won the Silver Medal at the World Championship with Team USA in 1990. In five games, she had 23 points on 11 goals and 12 assists. In 1992 and 1994, she won silver with Team USA. She captained the women’s team from 1989-1996. She retired in 1994 after multiple knee surgeries.
