The Montreal Canadiens’ appeal appears to be on the rise, as Pierre LeBrun has revealed some excellent news.

LeBrun revealed today that a player asked his agent to add the Canadiens to the list of teams he would accept a trade to.
It was on the OverDrive show that the insider shared the news. A revelation that says a lot about the changing perception of Montreal around the NHL.
LeBrun described the telling moment.
An agent was surprised to hear the request from his client.
The player wanted one specific thing.
He asked for Montreal to be added to his list of teams where he would like to play.
The player clearly expressed his desire to play for the Canadiens, and Kent Hughes has the green light to complete the trade.
However, LeBrun did not name the player.
The identity of both the player and his agent remains unknown.
Canadiens’ renewed appeal is starting to show across the NHL
This revelation comes at an interesting time.
But recent signs are telling a different story.
The work of management is paying off!
Kent Hughes, Jeff Gorton, and Geoff Molson have worked hard to change the perception of the Canadiens throughout the league, and it appears to be working!
