The Colorado Avalanche were swept in the Western Conference Finals by Golden Knights. Today they have announced they are trading Jack Drury, prospect Chase Bradley and a third-round pick to the Nashville Predators in exchange for Fedor Svechkov and Zachary L’Heureux. Drury played in all 13 games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs this year for the Avalanche with three goals and two assists will head to Nashville after 115 games played with the Avalanche over the last seasons and a half.

Colorado Avalanche Receive:
Fedor Svechkov
Svechkov is a left hand shot center. He played in 70 games this season for the Predators with four goals and 13 assists for 17 total points. Svechkov finished the season with a minus six plus/minus rating while averaging 12 minutes and five seconds of ice time for the Predators.
Zachary L’Heureux
Zachary L’Heureux is a left hand shot winger who was the 27th pick overall in the 2021 NHL Draft. He joined the Milwaukee Admirals in the 2023-2024 season where he recorded 48 points on 19 goals and 29 assists in 66 games played. He moved up to the Predators in the 2024-2025 season playing in 62 games scoring five goals and had ten assists. This last season L’Heureux split the season between the AHL and NHL. He scored 14 goals and had 14 assists for the Admirals this year in the AHL. While only recording five points in 25 games with the Predators this season.
Nashville Predators Receive
Jack Drury
Drury is a left shot center who was taken 42nd overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2018 NHL Draft. Drury matched his career high in points this season with 27 after playing in every regular season game for the Colorado Avalanche. He averaged 14:29 minutes of ice time this season and had a +15 rating this season. This was Drury first season in which he played in all 82 regular season games. This past post season Drury added three goals and two assists matching his career high in post season points with five that he had during the 2023-2024 post season with the Hurricanes.
Chase Bradley
Chase Bradley is a left shot winger who was drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft by the Detroit Red Wings. Bradley has played in two NHL games in his career both coming during the 2024-2025 season. This past season Bradley spent his time with the Colorado Eagles in the AHL. He had 12 total points with nine goals in 42 regulars season games. Bradley turned it on during the playoffs for the Eagles scoring five more goals and added five assists for ten points in 17 games played.
The Predators will also get a third round pick in the 2029 NHL Draft in return.
