IRMO, S.C. (WIS) – The third annual Tunnels to Towers Hockey Game was held Saturday at Flight Adventure Park in Irmo.
The Richland County Blue Liners, representing the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, faced off against the Greenville Guardians.
The Blue Liners team captain, Corporal Michael Doire of Richland County Sheriff’s Department, spoke about what the event means for the Palmetto State.
“It’s nice to get out of the uniform and be a regular person and just go out and enjoy a fun game. Hopefully, everyone else can enjoy it, again for a great cause.”
All proceeds benefit the Tunnels to Towers organization, which supports military veterans, fallen first responder families, and Gold Star families.
