The Calgary Flames did not add to their lineup at the NHL Trade Deadline but adjusted it by subtraction.
On Thursday, they announced that defenseman Ilya Solovyov had been reassigned to the Calgary Wranglers in the AHL, and on Friday, they reassigned Adam Klapka back to the minors.

In limited action, five games, Solovyov had an assist and was minus-3 while skating 15:40 a game. With the Wranglers this season, he has six goals and 21 points in 43 games.

Meanwhile, Klapka skated in 13 games, scoring a goal with 16 shots on goal playing roughly 8:10 a night. In his third season with the Wranglers, the 24-year-old has 13 goals and 25 points in 31 games with 50 penalty minutes.
The Flames just finished a six-game road trip with a 2-2-2 record, while the Wranglers went 1-3 on their recent homestand. They have struggled over the last month, with just one win since Feb. 1.
