The Nashville Predators opened their first development camp under new general manager Chris MacFarland on Monday, bringing together the organization’s newest draft picks, top prospects and invited free agents for a week of on-ice instruction and evaluation.
A total of 31 skaters and six goaltenders are participating in the camp, including all eight of the club’s selections from the 2026 NHL Draft, top draft picks from the previous two years and several undrafted invitees.
Among the players drawing attention were first-round picks Wyatt Cullen and Tommy Bleyl, who appeared comfortable on the ice while taking part in their first development camp after hearing their names called on draft day.
One of the day’s highlights came during a goaltending drill in which netminders faced alternating shots from 2025 first-round selections Brady Martin and Ryker Lee.
Development camp concluded Friday morning with the Future Stars Game at Ford Ice Center Bellevue. The free scrimmage was open to the public and was streamed on NashvillePredators.com with commentary from Willy Daunic and Chris Mason. It also was broadcast on 102.5 The Game.
