If his shooting percentage comes back down a bit while his role stays the same, a more “normal” depth scoring profile makes sense. There’s still value in that type of player — energy, pace, reliable minutes, forechecking, and leadership all matter. But expecting another 20-goal season may be a stretch. An increase in assists, however, feels more realistic.
