The Toronto Maple Leafs remain the hottest ticket in town.

If you’re looking to buy tickets between Toronto and Ottawa for Game 5 at Scotiabank Arena, set for 7 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, prices have only dipped slightly from when we last checked them on April 15, just before the series began.

Ask any fan of arguably the most-followed hockey team in the world, and they’ll tell you their biggest complaint with cheering on the team is the high prices to get into the door.

Over the weekend, the Leafs extended their first-round series by at least one game, dropping a Game 4 contest on the road against the Ottawa Senators to bring the matchup back to Toronto on Tuesday night.

And despite Toronto still being the overwhelming favourite to win the series as they hold a 3-1 lead, ticket prices haven’t been all that affected by the way the series has gone so far.

On Ticketmaster, you’ll find tickets at $361 each for standing room or $391 each for a pair of seats in section 322.

The going rate on StubHub is $423 for a non-obstructed, non-standing seat in section 322, though you can get in for $360 if you’re willing to stand in the last row of section 318.

For comparison’s sake, StubHub has prices of $406 for a prospective Game 6 on Thursday, while no resale tickets are available on Ticketmaster.

Two weeks ago, the prices for Game 5 showed at $482 on Ticketmaster for a pair of non-obstructed seats in the upper deck, or $377 on StubHub for similar tickets.

While we don’t know how the remainder of the series will go, we do know that Toronto will have multiple home games left over the course of the playoffs.

If they win Game 5 (or Game 6 in Ottawa, or Game 7 back in Toronto), they’ll advance to the second round of the playoffs, where they’ll face the winner of the Tampa Bay Lightning-Florida Panthers series, and have home-ice advantage on their side.
