We had some action involving the Montreal Canadiens today, including on the ice live from Brossard.
Two recent signings joined the group.
Dillan Bentley and Aiden Dubinsky were on the ice this morning in Brossard.
Two young players who signed with the Laval Rocket, the Canadiens’ AHL affiliate, in recent days.
They will play there during the 2026-27 season, their first full professional campaign, and they are two names to watch heading into the Montreal Canadiens’ upcoming training camp.
Bentley and Dubinsky both completed their NCAA careers last season.
They even got a taste of the professional level.
Bentley played a few games with the Laval Rocket at the end of the season, while Dubinsky appeared in just one game.
Their presence in Brossard is no coincidence.
Both players had already taken part in the Montreal Canadiens’ development camp, held on July 1, 2 and 3.
Dillan Bentley and Aiden Dubinsky are already making a strong impression ahead of Canadiens training camp
Showing up in Brossard in the middle of the summer says a lot about their mindset.
Nobody is forcing them to be there at this time of year, and considering they are already identified with the Laval Rocket (rather than the National Hockey League), it’s rare to see that.
The July development camp gave them a first look at the organization’s expectations. The real work begins now, away from the spotlight and the major announcements.
Two names to keep an eye on heading into September.
