It’s a new era for the captain of the Winnipeg Jets! Adam Lowry and his longtime partner, Laura Quinton, tied the knot on July 18 in a romantic ceremony held at a local venue.

On Tuesday, the 33-year-old NHL star shared pictures from his nuptials on social media. The Calgary-raised hockey player and his new wife looked elegant during their wedding, which was held at 529 Wellington in Winnipeg’s Crescentwood neighbourhood.

“The Lowrys,” the athlete captioned his post on Instagram. “07.18.26.”

One snapshot from the couple’s wedding — shot by Winnipeg-based wedding photographer Brittany Mahood — featured the newlyweds sharing a kiss in front of the venue’s restored mansion, called Ashdown House, built in 1913. Other pictures from their special day included the two posing with their golden retriever, Banks, as well as an aerial photo as they exchanged vows in front of loved ones and more portraits.

Behind-the-scenes footage from the wedding showcased white floral arrangements from a local florist called Stone House Creative, while their outdoor ceremony was decorated with wooden chairs, white umbrellas and natural-tone rugs as an aisle runner. A Winnipeg-based string quartet also covered the music for the ceremony.

Indoors, the reception was decorated with white tablecloths, elegant white centrepieces more than 175 tapered candles for a warm and cozy setting. A separate video also showed the couple sharing their first dance outdoors under a tent.

“Some weddings stay with you long after the last dance. Yesterday was one of them! Every detail was thoughtfully considered, every moment filled with so much love, and every memory one we’ll cherish for years to come,” the couple’s wedding planning team shared in a social media post.

Lowry’s wife wore a gown from Alena Leena Bridal that featured a strapless white corset with a sheer-and-lace design covering her shoulders and arms. She also wore a high ponytail and a soft makeup look with pearl stud earrings.

Across social media, people spread the love and shared their congratulations for the newlyweds.

“Such a special day for two astoundingly kind people! Honoured to be a part of it!” Mahood wrote under Lowry’s Instagram post.

“Congratulations! So proud that you chose to have your wedding in Winnipeg! What a great captain and representative for our [Winnipeg Jets] and our city,” someone else penned on Instagram.

“Congratulations to the new wedded couple! The celebration looks like it was very beautiful,” a Facebook user added.

“The best night celebrating the best couple! Love you both,” a wedding guest wrote.

“Congratulations to you both. So nice to see you celebrated this milestone here in Winnipeg,” someone noted.

Lowry and Quinton reportedly started dating in 2019, and they got engaged last summer. Lowry shared the news of his proposal on Aug. 5, 2025, sharing photos from the life moment that featured himself and his then-fiancée posing by a body of water.

While the couple have generally kept their life private, Lowry has sometimes taken to social media with photos of his life off the ice over the years. Last February, he shared snapshots with his significant other during a vacation in Turks and Caicos, and he’s taken to Instagram with Christmas photos in both 2023 and 2024.

The Winnipeg Jets centre is the son of former NHL player Dave Lowry, who used to play for the Calgary Flames. On Nov. 19, 2025, Adam Lowry signed a five-year contract extension with the Winnipeg Jets for an average annual value of $5 million.
