New York Rangers have officially completed their coaching staff as they hire three top candidates just a few moments ago.

Earlier on Thursday morning, NHL Insider Elliotte Friedman dropped some massive news regarding the New York Rangers coaching staff, after several reports believe former head coach David Quinn and Boston Bruins former coach Joe Sacco may be joining the Rangers.

The New York Rangers wasted no time to hire Mike Sullivan as their head coach shortly after they announced Peter Laviolette’s departure from the organization after failing to make the playoffs this past season.

Along with that, the New York Rangers are reportedly set to make hiring of assistant coaches in the near future as Elliotte Friedman just announced that the Rangers organization is expected to hire three coaches to join Mike Sullivan’s staff.

As the New York Rangers and Mike Sullivan look for coaches who can produce wins, it has been reported by Elliotte Friedman that the Rangers are expected to hire a few familiar faces of the New York Rangers along with several who are very familiar with Sullivan.

Those three coaches are reportedly former Rangers and Penguins coach David Quinn, another former Penguins coach Ty Hennes, and finally former Boston Bruins head coach Joe Sacco.

Just moments after the Bruins hired their next head coach Marco Sturm, Elliotte Friedman made the announcement:

“And there is word Dave Quinn and Joe Sacco are in the process of joining Mike Sullivan’s staff in Manhattan.

And apparently Ty Hennes toohe was with Sullivan in PIT”
