CANTON — St. Lawrence University will open its 2026-27 women’s hockey season with a series against defending champion Wisconsin on Sept. 25-26 at Appleton Arena.
The Saints, who were 11-21-3 overall and 8-13-1 in ECAC Hockey play, announced their schedule Wednesday.
St. Lawrence will play an exhibition game before the Wisconsin series, facing Colgate at Appleton. The Saints and Red Raiders have played an opening exhibition game each of the last four years.
After facing Wisconsin, which went 35-4-2 last season, St. Lawrence will play two nonleague games against Maine on Oct. 1-2 on the road.
St. Lawrence will play the first of four games against rival Clarkson at 11 a.m. Oct. 8 in the annual school day game between the two squads in Canton. The next day, the Saints will play at the Golden Knights in Potsdam in a second nonconference game.
The Saints then hit the road against New Hampshire on Oct. 15-16.
St. Lawrence will play Penn State on Oct. 23-24 at Appleton, then open ECAC Hockey play on the road at Dartmouth and Harvard on Oct. 30-31.
The Saints will also play two games against Merrimack at Herb Brooks Arena in Lake Placid on Nov. 27-28. They close out the first semester with home games against Colgate and Cornell on Dec. 4-5.
During the second semester, St. Lawrence plays on the road at Yale and Brown on Jan. 8-9. The Saints and Golden Knights then meet for their league matchups Jan. 15-16. St. Lawrence hosts Rensselaer and Union on Feb. 5-6 and travels to Princeton and Quinnipiac for the final weekend of the regular season Feb. 12-13.
