The Wisconsin Badgers are aiming to keep it in the family with their latest men’s hockey commitment.

Luke Pietila, the younger brother of Adam, announced his commitment to the University of Wisconsin.

“I am proud and honored to announce my commitment to play Division I hockey and further my education at the University of Wisconsin,” he wrote. “I would like to thank my family, coaches, friends and advisor who have helped me along the way. I can’t wait to see what the future holds! On Wisconsin.”

Pietila, 17, is fresh off a 97-point season in which he produced 31 goals with the Oakland Jr. Grizzlies 16U team.

According to PuckPreps’ Ryan Sikes, Pietila is a four-star forward.
