The slumping Seattle Mariners look to snap a losing skid in the series finale against the division-leading Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday.

Riding a five-game winning streak and sitting atop the American League East Division standings, the Tampa Bay Rays continue their nine-game road trip on Sunday afternoon as they take on the Seattle Mariners in a matinee series finale in search of their second consecutive series sweep. Seattle comes into Sunday on its third losing skid of three or more games since the All-Star break as they put right-hander Emerson Hancock (6-6, 3.33 ERA) on the mound looking for his first win since early July. The Rays will counter with second-year southpaw Ian Seymour (8-3, 4.27 ERA), who has won back-to-back starts, allowing just two earned runs and striking out 13 batters in those outings.
