Ally Hague, the wife of Nashville Predators defenseman Nicolas Hague, provided a hopeful update after being diagnosed with colon cancer last year at the age of 26.

“15 months of this cancer battle, 5 procedures, 2 major surgeries, 6 rounds of chemo, 1 round of IVF, countless scans, and 10 rounds of immunotherapy left. Today – August 11th I finally get to say that I beat cancer ✨,” Ally shared via Instagram on Tuesday, August 11.

Ally shared a carousel of photos from throughout her cancer journey, most of which featured Nicolas, 27, by her side.

“Cancer has taught me to have more patience & strength, and to love myself through all the changes and embrace all the simple things in life,” Ally said. “The hardest & scariest chapter of my life is officially behind me.”
