DULUTH, Minn. (KQDS-TV)- The UMD women’s hockey team revealed their captains for this upcoming season.
Defenseman Ida Karlsson and forward Caitlin Kraemer will don the “C” as captains and goaltender Eve Gascon and defenseman Kate Kosobud will don the “A” as alternate captains.
This is a first-time honor for all of this year’s captains.
UMD is coming off a 20-15-3 season, which included a NCAA tournament berth.
Their first game is September 25th at home against Mercyhurst.
