Marc-Andre Fleury
Fleury spent 13 seasons with the black and gold, helping the team win three Stanley Cups. In 2017, the beloved goalie was picked by the Vegas Golden Knights in the expansion draft. He was later traded to the Chicago Blackhawks and then to the Minnesota Wild, where he retired last season.
Fleury recorded eight different 30-plus win seasons, which included two 40-win seasons as well. He also played in two NHL All-Star games, earned two MVP awards, three Players’ Player awards and one Defensive Player of the Year award from the Penguins.
Larry Murphy
Murphy, now 65, played in 410 out of 421 games as a Penguin. He scored eight out of 10 points during the Stanley Cup Final games, trailed in points only by Mario Lemieux. He is a two time NHL Second All-Star Team player and lead the team’s blueliners in scoring four times in the regular season and playoffs.
Murphy was also the alternate captain in 1992 and 1993.
Jim Rutherford
Rutherford served as executive vice president and general manager of the Penguins from June 2014 to January 2021. During his time, he helped acquire Penguins greats Phil Kessel, Patric Hornqvist, Nick Bonino, Trevor Daley, Carl Hagelin and Justin Schultz.
Following the 2016 Stanley Cup win, Rutherford earned the General Manager of the Year award by the NHL.
Jack McGregor
McGregor is being honored posthumously. The new Hall of Famer helped efforts to bring the Penguins to Pittsburgh and was the team president from 1967 to 1970.
