Penn State is on the board with another commitment.

Goaltender Mason Courville pledged to the Nittany Lions on Monday evening; he posted on Instagram.

Courville, a Pennsylvania native, posted a 3.06 goals-against average and 8-8-2 record through 18 games with the Flint Firebirds of the OHL last season. The 16-year-old paired that with an .893 save percentage.

He played on Team USA for the Hlinka Gretzky Cup, playing in three games and recording a 2.14 goals-against average and .921 save percentage.

“Proud and honored to announce my commitment to further my education and play Division 1 hockey at Penn State University!” Courville posted to Instagram. “Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, friends and mentors who have supported me on this journey.”
