Minnesota Wild president of hockey operations, Bill Guerin, is out at the State Fair on Monday, making his rounds with all the local media outlets he has become a semi-regular with, including WCCO, KFAN and SKOR North.

Per usual, the most interesting interview today was probably Barreiro, on KFAN. Those two have a pretty legendary history of heated interviews and that didn’t change today.
Meanwhile, as fans continue to await good news on the Quinn Hughes extension front they still have no idea how they are even going to watch their favorite hockey team in 2026-27, and the team is set to meet for training camp in about two weeks.
Minnesota Wild on Amazon Prime?
On Monday, while Guerin was fending off Hughes questions, we got the closest we have yet to getting some answers on the TV front. According to DLLS Sports reporter Sam Nestler, the Dallas Stars are moving their live game streams to Amazon Prime.
While he hasn’t been able to confirm it yet, he is hearing that five more teams are expected to follow in the Stars’ footsteps, including Central Division rival, the Minnesota Wild.

Can fans watch Wild games on cable and satellite next season?
A lot of Minnesota Wild fans are worried that they will not be able to watch games on standard cable or via satellite, especially after the Timberwolves signed and announced a new streaming rights deal with DAZN.
Russo is here to calm those concerns, though. According to a reply Michael made on Twitter today, the Wild plan to have a “linear option” available for those who like to watch their Wild on an actual TV channel, number and everything.
