The Sabres have “agreed to a multiyear renewal with Audacy” keeping Buffalo-based WGR-AM as the team’s flagship radio station. The pair are “also forming the Sabres Radio Network to expand the broadcast reach of games.” Broadcasters Dan Dunleavy and Rob Ray will “continue to man the game broadcasts on MSG and their calls will be simulcast on the radio, as well as appearing on the Sabres and Audacy apps.” There was “uncertainty about WGR’s status after last season,” and the Sabres “studied their options on radio before circling back to their longtime partner and coming to a new deal” (BUFFALO NEWS, 9/3).
