Trevor Zegras took advantage of the offseason to attend a match at the US Open.
It was a casual outing that was captured on social media, but it’s getting plenty of attention for one very specific reason.
He was in attendance with a Philadelphia Flyers employee.
“Trevor Zegras was photographed at the US Open yesterday. And it’s generating a lot of buzz on social media.
Why? Because sitting next to him was a reporter whose job is to cover his team, the Philadelphia Flyers.
And what you need to know is that she’s a reporter who works for the Flyers. She’s on the team’s payroll.”

Personally, we have absolutely no problem with it, but we can also understand why some people are raising questions after seeing them together.
Trevor Zegras draws attention away from the rink after strong first season in Philadelphia
Remember, Zegras recently signed a new four-year contract to remain in Philadelphia.
The 25-year-old forward had a strong season last year, recording 67 points in 81 games, including 26 goals and 41 assists.
Either way, his appearance at the New York tennis tournament quickly made the rounds online!
It’s also another reminder of the constant attention NHL players receive, even when they’re away from the rink.

Whatever the nature of their relationship, Zegras and Skalicky certainly appeared to enjoy the moment together – and social media was quick to notice. They certainly look good together.
