(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild have been off since mid-May but that’s all about to change as training camp is fast approaching. While the Wild advanced out of the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since 2015 last year after taking out the Dallas Stars, they’re still disappointed in the fact they were ousted by the Colorado Avalanche in round two. Now the Wild have an unsettled roster taking them into the new season with a bunch of new faces in important roles. Captains practices led by Jared Spurgeon start today and that will lead into a prospects camp followed by training camp next week. The first game of the preseason is Saturday, September 19th against the Chicago Blackhawks from Grand Casino Arena. The Wild open the regular season on October 1st in Nashville.
