The Rangers picked up their first preseason win last night with a 4-3 shootout victory over the Devils. They got goals from Anton Blidh, Will Cuylle, and Scott Morrow. Joonas Korpisalo stopped 20 of the 23 shots he faced in the win.
New York Islanders News & Notes
The Islanders enter their third preseason game coming off a 4-3 win over the Rangers on Tuesday. They got two goals from Mattias Maccelli, then goals from Kyle MacLean and Matthew Schaefer in the win. Ilya Sorokin stopped six of the nine shots he faced, while Semyon Varlamov stopped all ten shots he faced.
