The Manitoba Moose get a boost as Isaak Phillips, Parker Ford, Nikita Chibrikov, and Noah Gregor were all placed on waivers yesterday.

It was announced today that all four players cleared waivers and will report to the Winnipeg Jets’ AHL affiliate.

In addition to the waiver wire activity for Winnipeg, they also reassigned goaltender Thomas Milic to the Moose.

The Moose will take this welcome boost as the club is wrapping up a pair of exhibition games against the Iowa Wild.

Manitoba opens their season on Saturday, October 3rd, when they take on the Chicago Wolves.

All five players Manitoba received are expected to suit up for the game on Saturday afternoon.

Winnipeg did not make any more training camp cuts ahead of Monday’s deadline for the 23-man roster limit.

Winnipeg has 29 players left on their roster right now, though three of them are on the injured list. This brings Winnipeg’s number down to three players that they need to cut ahead of Monday’s deadline.

Here are the remaining players:

Goaltenders: Domenic DiVincentiis & Stuart Skinner

Defensemen: Dylan DeMelo, Neal Pionk, Henry Thrun, Haydn Fleury, Josh Morrissey, Mario Ferraro, Jack St. Ivany, Tyrel Bauer & Dylan Samberg

Forwards: Cole Perfetti, Brad Lambert, Alex Iafallo, Vladislav Namestnikov, Gabriel Vilardi, Mark Scheifele, Viggo Bjorck, Isak Rosen, Adam Lowry, Brayden Yager, Morgan Barron, Cole Koepke, Danny Zhilkin, Nino Niederreiter & Kyle Connor

IL: Elias Salomonsson, Garrett Brown & Walker Duehr

Winnipeg didn’t make any more roster moves, and likely will announce their next round of cuts as everyone goes through the roster free-for-all ahead of the Monday deadline.
