Bedford’s Alex Steeves clears waivers, will be assigned to Providence Bruins
MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Bedford native Alex Steeves has cleared NHL waivers after being waived by the Boston Bruins.
Steeves will now be assigned to Providence in the American Hockey League.
The team waived Steeves as one of the last cuts of training camp and noted in the transaction that they’d like to keep him and assign him to the minor leagues.
