(ABC 6) – Brock Faber is out indefinitely for the Minnesota Wild after having successful surgery Sunday for a skull fracture.
The fracture occurred after Faber took a puck to the head off of the stick of Dallas Stars forward Sam Steel during the teams last preseason game on Friday night.
The Wild said that a timeline for Faber’s recovery will be announced later.
They will open their season on the road in Nashville Thursday.
