(Nashville, TN) — The Minnesota Wild got contributions from across their lineup as they beat the Nashville Predators 3-1 at Bridgestone Arena to win their season opener. Kirill Kaprizov tipped a Quinn Hughes shot early in the third to ice the win. Jesper Wallstedt stopped 19 of the 20 shots he faced to net the victory as the Wild improved to 15-9-2 in season openers, including winning four straight. The Wild open the home slate at Grand Casino Arena tomorrow when they host the Boston Bruins at 7 P-M in St. Paul.
