Forward Max Plante, ranked No. 8 on DHN’s Top Red Wings Prospect list, has an upper body injury that will sideline him on a “week-to-week” basis

He was injured Saturday in Minnesota-Duluth’s second game against Long Island University in a weekend series. The reigning Hobey Baker Award winner had two assists and five shots on goal on the weekend.

The Bulldogs play Augustana this weekend and have a bigger series the following weekend against Minnesota. Plante registered 25 goals and 52 points in 40 games last season.
