Unfortunately for the Flyers, this is looking like it will be a tough matchup for them at the moment. Both teams are trending in polar opposite directions; the Hurricanes are on a four-game-strong win streak, while the Flyers are the only team in the Eastern Conference without a win this season.
The last time the two teams faced off, however, the Hurricanes only narrowly defeated the Flyers in overtime, 3-2. So all hope is not lost; if things had gone just slightly differently in that last game, the Flyers could have won. Maybe they will pull off something similar tonight.
