Winless Flyers look to find an offensive spark as homestand wraps against the Kraken

Scoring just eight goals in their first seven games this season, the Philadelphia Flyers head into Tuesday night on an 11-game losing skid dating back to last year’s playoffs, as they welcome the Seattle Kraken into the Xfinity Mobile Arena, where Seattle has won two of their last four visits to the City of Brotherly Love. The Kraken are undefeated so far on their five-game eastern road trip, having picked up victories against Detroit and Washington and tonight aim for their fourth road win in the season’s first two weeks, powered by the NHL’s third-ranked scoring offense that has posted 4.33 goals per game. The clubs split the season last year, with each team winning by three goals on their home ice and each of the last four meetings has been decided by two or more goals.
