The Colorado Avalanche outshot the New Jersey Devils. They also snapped their winning streak and continued to play well at home. Also, an unfortunate injury for one of their veteran defensemen.

All that and more on this edition of Deen’s Daily — October 29.

Colorado Hockey Now

The Avalanche scored a whole bunch of goals in the third period of a game where they doubled up the Devils in shots. It’s the first time New Jersey had been outshot this season, snapping a streak of 12 games.

The Avs also, unfortunately, lost Josh Manson to a lower-body injury. I’d imagine we’ll get an update on his status today or tomorrow.
