The San Jose Sharks are debuting a new jersey.

The Sharks will show off their Hometown Remix jerseys on Monday night against the Calgary Flames, then seven more times this season.

According to the San Jose Sharks team press release: “Each Hometown Remix uniform was designed around its respective city and fanbase. Design details throughout the collection draw on local landmarks, motifs and culture, grounding each look in something recognizable to fans.”

The Sharks’ Hometown Remix jersey is designed around the Shark Head and Shark Tank.

“San Jose has never been a city that follows convention, and we wanted a jersey that reflects that same spirit,” San Jose Sharks senior VP and chief marketing officer, Doug Bentz, said. “The iconic Shark Head helped redefine the player introduction, and we wanted to bring that same spirit of innovation to something fans can wear. We set out to create something different from anything we’ve worn before, bringing together hockey, fashion and culture to give a new generation of fans a bold way to represent their team and their city. It’s unapologetically San Jose, unmistakably Sharks, and like the Shark Head, made to stand out.”
