The Florida Panthers look to move within a win of a second straight Stanley Cup on Thursday night when they host the Edmonton Oilers in Game 4.

The Panthers and Oilers played in two instant classics to kick off this year’s Stanley Cup Final, with the first two games in Edmonton going to overtime.

Unfortunately, the drama seemed to have been left north of the border, as the defending champions left no doubt when the series shifted to Sunrise.

The Panthers jumped on the Oilers early in Game 3 on Monday night, with Brad Marchand’s fourth goal of the series coming into the opening minute. That set the tone for the game, as Florida ran over the reeling Oilers.

The ending was something to see, as Edmonton tried to intimidate Florida by taking shots at them in the closing minutes of the game. It ended up being all for naught, as the Cats took their first lead in the series with a 6-1 win.

Now, in order to avoid returning home facing elimination, the Oilers have to bounce back with a composed effort on Thursday night, hoping to take back home-ice advantage before returning to Edmonton.
