Are Edmonton Oilers Stanley Cup bound? Former NHLer weighs in
Former NHL winger Riley Cote explains what he loves about this Edmonton Oilers team ahead of the Western Conference Finals.
Sports Seriously
The Stanley Cup Final is down to a best-of-three series after the Edmonton Oilers staged a major rally and beat the Florida Panthers in Game 4.
The Oilers, who tied the series 2-2 and regained home-ice advantage, will host Games 5 and 7, if necessary. The Panthers will host Game 6.
Edmonton won Games 1 and 4 while the Panthers won Games 2 and 3, the last one in a rout. The other three games went to overtime.
Last year, these teams went to seven games, but in a much different way. The Panthers won the first three games and the Oilers the next three before Florida captured Game 7Â on home ice.
The Panthers are trying to win their second title and Edmonton its sixth and first since 1990. The Oilers can become the first Canadian team since 1993 to win the Stanley Cup
