Sidney Crosby will be heading to the Olympics for a third time.

Canada on Monday named its first six players to the roster for the 2026 Olympics, selecting Crosby, Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, Sam Reinhart, Brayden Point and Cale Makar.

This will mark Crosby’s 10th time representing Canada in an international tournament. In addition to the 2010 and 2014 Olympics, he’s played in the World Championship in 2006, 2015 and 2025, the 2016 World Cup, the 2004 and 2004 World Junior Championship, and the 4 Nations Face-Off last season. He’s medaled in all but two appearances, taking home two Olympic golds, a World Championship gold, World Junior gold and silver, World Cup gold, and 4 Nations Face-Off gold.

The Olympics will be held in Milan and Cortina, Italy, from Feb. 6-22.
