Max Domi of the Toronto Maple Leafs is drawing the ire of fans and analysts as they debate whether he should remain in the lineup for Game 6 against the Senators.
However, when it comes to analysts and fans, players are often only as good as their last game, and Domi is clearly struggling.
One analyst believes Domi’s struggles go beyond his own play, as he’s actually dragging down linemates, regardless of who he’s playing with.
The Athletic’s Kevin Papetti says coach Craig Berube has a major decision to make going into Game 6 against Ottawa, and that is whether Domi should even remain in the lineup.Berube has little time to make a decision on his lineup for Game 6 as it takes place Thursday at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa. Allowing the Senators to force a Game 7 would send shockwaves throughout Leafs Nation, as the team attempts to avoid yet another first-round exit.
