With the Vancouver Canucks seeing 40-goal scorer Brock Boeser hit the open market as a free agent come July 1st, NHL insider Frank Seravalli disclosed which Eastern Conference team he is likely going to sign with.

With only two weeks until the free agency officially starts, Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin has a lot of tough decisions on his hands, one of which involves offering Brock Boeser a contract that will make him stay in Vancouver.

The reality of the situation is that the Canucks do not think the 28 year old star winger is worth what the market has set for him.

The interest is reportedly still there, but Boeser knows his worth and is guaranteed to be testing the market.

“The Canucks keep in contact with his agent. They are showing interest, but it sounds like Boeser wants to test July 1st.” – Rick Dhaliwal said.

With that news hitting the airwaves, media outlets and insiders have been putting
fourth which teams are the likely contenders to land Boeser.

Most Notably of which came from Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff who shared on Monday’s edition of Canucks Central the Boston Bruins as the best destination to land him.

In his own words, Seravalli believes the door is closed on Boeser returning to the Vancouver Canucks and suggest the Boston Bruins is where he could end up

The Bruins are in basically a big rebuild or re-toll this summer after missing the playoffs and letting go of captain Brad Marchand at the NHL trade deadline to the Florida Panthers.

With that in mind, Boston is in desperate need of some strong offensive support for David Pasternak.

With $26.2 million of cap space (According to https://puckpedia.com/team/boston-bruins), the team has more than enough salary space to give Boeser want he wants in return for a froward who can easily pout up another 40-goal season in 2025-26.

Obviously fans do not want to see Boeser go to a new team, it appears that his future in Vancouver is officially coming to an end.
