DENVER (KDVR) — Saturday, Ball Arena will be hosting the first Colorado Avalanche Hockey Equipment Sale, where the public can buy game-used or practice-used equipment from the Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Eagles during the 2024 to 2025 season.
Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, the sports and entertainment holding company, states that there will be thousands of items, including sticks, gloves, helmets, pads, skates, pucks, and more.

The event will go from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. This can be a great opportunity for fans, collectors and amateur hockey players who can “save hundreds on top-of-the-line skates and pads and other gear that is very costly to buy new,” KSE said in a press release.
All proceeds from this event will go to Kroenke Sports Charities, which strives “to serve our community through education, health and fitness initiatives, athletic programs, and direct aid, with the particular purpose of helping families, children, veterans, and the disabled,” according to the website.
Admission to the sale is free but requires a ticket. Kroenke Sports & Entertainment says there will be item limits to give shoppers a fair chance, and since the pro-equipment is directly from the Avs and Eagles, there will be no youth equipment available.
