FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS12) — Tens of thousands of Florida Panthers fans will descend on Fort Lauderdale this weekend to help the team celebrate its second straight Stanley Cup win.

Less than a day after the Cats celebrated their NHL championship on the ice, the team revealed the plans for a much bigger party. The 2025 Championship Celebration parade will kick off at noon on Sunday along Riomar Street.

The procession will head down A1A before stopping at Southeast 5th Street, just north of Fort Lauderdale Beach Park. The formal rally will take place at the park, where a stage is being set up across from Hotel Maren.

The team posted a web page to offer more information about the rally as it becomes available. Fans are asked to check https://www.floridapanthers.com/playoffcentral and the team’s social media channels for updates.

New gear is already on sale for fans hoping to rock new Panthers 2025 Stanley Cup Champions shirts and hats at the event (or for a long time afterwards). The team says merchandise is already on sale at Pantherland, powered by FLA Team Shop at Baptist Health IcePlex. The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
