Congratulations to “Canes N Bacon”, who won the Canes Country Pick’em contest this season with a total of 50 points earned. He was rolling into the final in third place, but picked Florida to win in six games and he jumped ahead of the competition.

With the Panthers winning the Cup twice in a row and with three straight trips to the Finals, they are certainly the team to emulate.
The Draft is a week away, so I will be working on a preview and will post it soon. Of course, free agency will open shortly after that.
It seems that Carolina’s best chance to get better would be to make a hockey trade. Easier said than done.
