Calgary Flames prospects Zayne Parekh and Matvei Gridin have been named to 2024-25 CHL First All-Star Team and All-Rookie Team respectively.
Earlier, Gridin of the Shawinigan Cataractes was presented the Michel Bergeron Trophy for QMJHL Rookie of the Year, crowned QMJHL Offensive Rookie Of the Year and made the QMJHL All-Rookie Team. But this is the biggest achievement of them all.
Parekh of the Saginaw Spirit, meanwhile made the OHL First All-Star Team, but in the bigger picture, he has already debuted for the Flames with one goal next to his name. He will be hoping to be a regular member of the Flames come training camp.
