Oilers vs. Panthers: Looking ahead

Edmonton ranked among the best home teams in the NHL in the regular season with a 25-13-3 record that has given way to a 7-1 home record so far in the NHL Playoffs. A win in Game 2, and the Oilers take a commanding position upholding their home ice in the Stanley Cup Finals.

The Panthers, who beat the Oilers in seven games to win last season’s Stanley Cup, still have an opportunity to earn a 1-1 split with three of the next four games set to be played in Florida.
