The Washington Capitals will get some summer hockey sooner rather than later, as their prospects are set to take the ice for their annual development camp following the 2025 NHL Draft.

Washington released a preliminary schedule for camp, with prospects set to skate from Tuesday, July 1, to Saturday, July 5. The daily itinerary is still TBD, though players will get to have an NHL experience and go through drills and practice sessions with NHL coaches.

A number of the Capitals’ top rising stars are expected to participate, including the 2025 draft picks and last year’s first-rounder Terik Parascak.

There are a couple of invites making their way to camp, too, including Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis’ son, Ryan, who plays at Brown University, and Michigan State’s Daniel Russell.

The full roster will be released at a later date.
