LOS ANGELES. (WILX) – Ryker Lee hasn’t started his collegiate hockey career yet for Michigan State, but the MSU incoming freshman got selected 26th overall in the NHL Draft on Friday night.

The 18-year-old is a native of Wilmette, Illinois, and was taken by the Nashville Predators.

Lee marks the 13th Michigan State player to be taken in the first round and is the first MSU player to be going to the Predators since 1999.
