Day 1 of the 2025 NHL Draft is complete, but there’s still a lot more draft action left for the Detroit Red Wings.
The Red Wings drafted Carter Bear with the No. 13 overall pick on Friday, June 27, during the first round of the draft. Rounds 2-7 will all take place on Saturday, June 28, starting at noon ET.
The draft’s televised coverage will move from ESPN to the NHL Network, with streaming available on ESPN+ and Fubo.
Detroit enters Saturday’s action with eight picks left: one in each remaining round and an extra pick in the third and seventh rounds.
