A major development in a trade involving the Boston Bruins’ top forward and fan-favourite, David Pastrnak, to the Florida Panthers has surfaced, and the return has just been revealed.

The Boston Bruins are becoming desperate for a full turnaround for the 2025/26 NHL season, due to their disastrous ending of the 2024/25 season which left this Original Six franchise outside of postseason contention.

With that being said, some of the speculations that have been circulating through the rumor mill are shocking, and to kick off some pretty crazy offseason rumors, David Pastrnak has been revealed to be a target.

As recent rumors and speculations are suggesting the Florida Panthers are suspected to be showing immense interest in the Boston Bruins’ long-time veteran, Pasta.

It has been reported on social media via ‘X’, that David Pastrnak could end up becoming the next veteran Bruin to join the Florida Panthers this year.

«Confirmed. According to @DenikSport, Florida has a great interest in David Pastrnak. Obviously, the price is very high. However, Bill Zito is a wizard & Florida has pieces for to do that. Pastrnak has an NMC clause, but it looks like that shouldn’t be a problem.»

Following this absolutely gut-wrenching report, Bruins reporter, Scott McLaughlin replied to this post by announcing the minimal return Boston would need to even consider seeing their veteran depart from the organization.

«What are we doing here lol? Is Florida trading Barkov or Tkachuk? No? Then it’s not happening.»
